This leads me to the question, are these videos truly tutorials? Many of them are usually set at high speeds, to accommodate time limits. And the only audio is music playing. You can’t really follow the techniques and the artist never says anything.
Now many of these videos are cool for what they are, (not tutorial) so don’t get upset if I’m talking about you or one of your favorite artists.
Rather than complain about it, I chose to create my own drawing series. My tutorials will start off with the very basic principles of drawing and build from there. I wanted this to be something a left brained person could pick up and feel comfortable with. Now I’m not a formal instructor as such, but I can teach you a few things if you are open minded. I’m always open to learning something new, so please share your insight with me. The most important thing is that we have fun as we take this art journey together.
